Symphyotrichum ericoides 'Snow Flurry' / Heath Aster

Heath Asters are one of the most prolific bloomers of our native asters. In the fall, they'll be covered in a dense mat of snow-white flowers that summon pollinators from all over the neighborhood. 'Snow Flurry' is a dwarf cultivar that stays at a low height of around 6" but spreads easily via rhizomes. With its tolerance for drought and lots of sun, this cultivar of Heath aster is perfect as a groundcover in rock gardens and the like.
