Knitting 201: Rye Sock
Are you interested in making socks, but don’t want to go it alone? This is the class for you! This three-class series, walks you through making a cozy pair of worsted weight socks. Following the Rye pattern, by Tin Can Knits, you'll learn: basic sock structure pattern reading how to turn a heel how to work the gusset picking up stitches the Kitchener finishing stitch It's also a great opportunity to learn or practice knitting in the round. Prerequisites: You should already be comfortable with the basics - casting on, knitting, purling - at a minimum. We will not be going over these skills in this class. Class fee does not include supplies. Registered students receive a 10% discount on supplies for the class. Please note: Classes are non-refundable unless the class is cancelled or rescheduled.
