Republic Period Chinese Porcelain Hat Stand - Gilt Trim

This Chinese hat stand vase is beautifully decorated with a bird and flower motif that features two large, pink lotus flowers in full bloom surrounded by leaves in various shades of green. From the delicate blossoms on the branches to the shading of the birds feathers, the painting on this pieces is extremely high quality. The decoration appears to almost float on the surface of the vase. There is a mark on the base. The vase is in excellent condition. There is significant wear to the gilt around the rim. The hat stand is 11 inches tall and has a diameter of approximately 5 inches.
