Protection, rendered in silver. This filigree Hamsa pendant is built entirely from hand-twisted 925 sterling silver wire - letting the Yemenite filigree technique speak for itself. Hand-forged from 925 sterling silver using traditional Yemenite filigree techniques. Fine wire is twisted and soldered into spirals and openwork patterns that build the form one element at a time. The design demonstrates the kind of close-range detail that defines handmade filigree - visible complexity that rewards a closer look. Viewed from the side, the depth of the filigree becomes apparent. Multiple layers of twisted wire create a three-dimensional form that casts its own internal shadows, giving the pendant visual weight and complexity that a flat-cast piece cannot achieve.
