This one comes from a single small block at Birdwood, up in the Adelaide Hills, where we grafted Nero onto old Sauvignon Blanc vines back in 2015. It's the same block that gave us Pipe Dream. We gave this one time: more than two years in the cellar before it went into bottle, then two more years resting before we let it go. Spicy, decadent, refined: it says so right there on the label. Dark cherry and plum, a little clove and cracked pepper, and a bright, rocky freshness that carries it all the way through. Silky and ready to pour now.
