Margins/Perforation as shown in the scan The images are always part of the description The German occupation of Zara is one of the most fascinating collections in the field; the crisp, well-printed typographic overprint gives rise to various very interesting and highly sought-after varieties. There are IV types of overprint for Regular Mail + the V type for War Propaganda, well described in the Sassone catalogue. It has been possible to accurately compile the position statistics of the sheet for all varieties and combinations thanks to the examination of full sheets of most values. The second issue contains many fewer varieties and is therefore normally collected only as the "type" series. We know these overprints very well, as we have complete sheets of the scarcer values; therefore we guarantee that ALL of them are absolutely original, and upon request we issue the SPC s.a.s. photographic certificate where not already present.
