Product Overview:The Artusi AFI902 90cm Freestanding Induction Cooker puts a five-zone induction cooktop and a 100-litre electric oven into one 900mm-wide freestanding cooker. Knob-controlled induction zones with Boost on every zone deliver fast, responsive heat, while the 72cm-wide oven cavity gives families and entertainers room for big trays and several dishes at once.Eight oven cooking functions and an oven lamp setting, a 50–250°C thermostat, a digital touch timer and a triple-glazed full-width dark tinted glass door round out the oven. Choose Black (AFI902B) or White (AFI902W), both sharing the same specifications and footprint.Product Features: Five-zone induction cooktop: Two 160mm, two 200mm and one 250mm zone on a Ceran glass surface. Boost on every zone: Boost lifts each zone to 1400–1800W (160mm), 2100–2500W (200mm) or 2800–3500W (250mm) for fast boiling. Nine-position knob control: Each zone has its own knob with settings 0 to 9 plus P (Boost) for intuitive, positive control. Pan detection: A flashing symbol warns when no suitable pan is on the zone, and the zone switches off automatically after 2 minutes. Cooking zone timer: Set an independent 1–99 minute timer for each induction zone. Cooktop safety: Child lock, an "H" residual heat indicator and automatic safety switch-off when heat settings are left unchanged. 100L usable oven: A 72cm wide x 42cm deep x 33cm high cavity suited to large trays and family roasts. Nine multifunction modes: Eight cooking functions plus an oven lamp, with a 50–250°C thermostat and a single fan. Digital touch timer: Minute minder, semi-automatic cooking period of up to 10 hours and key lock. Triple-glazed door: A full-width dark tinted glass door with a removable inner glass panel and a full internal width easy-clean panel. Flexible racking: Side wire racks plus a 50% extension telescopic rack for easier access to food. Convenient storage and finishing: Drop-down lower storage compartment, mini splash-back, removable adjustable feet and an anti-tilt chain. Programmes / Functions: Oven lamp: Switches on the oven light only, and stays on for the duration of any cooking function. Defrost: Runs the fan without heat to help thaw frozen food. Place the food on the third shelf from the bottom with a tray beneath to catch meltwater; this function does not cook. Turbo: The ring heating element and fan distribute heat evenly so food on all racks cooks evenly. Preheat for about 10 minutes. Static cooking: Upper and lower heating elements for even heat, ideal for pastries, cakes, baked pasta, lasagne and pizza. Preheat for 10 minutes and use one shelf at a time. Fan: Upper and lower elements with the fan for air circulation and a slightly grilled effect, good for baking pastry. Preheat for about 10 minutes. Pizza: Ring element, lower element and fan to bake pizza and similar foods evenly in a short time. Grilling: The grill element for grilling and toasting on the upper shelves. Brush the wire grid with oil and place a tray beneath the food. Faster grilling: The grill and upper heating elements together for faster grilling and larger surface areas such as meat. Preheat for about 10 minutes. Double grill and fan: Grill, upper heating elements and fan for thicker foods and larger surface areas, with even cooking. Preheat for about 10 minutes. Grilling safety: Keep the oven door closed and set the oven temperature to 190°C when grilling. Induction heat settings: 1–3 delicate warming; 4–5 gentle simmering and slow warming; 6–7 reheating and rapid simmering; 8 boiling, sautéing and searing; 9 maximum heat; P Boost. Boost: Hold a knob at P for 2 seconds to activate Boost, then adjust to the desired level. Integrated power management may reduce power if Boost would exceed the maximum. Cooking zone timer: Select a zone, set the heat level and use the timer buttons to set 1–99 minutes. The zone switches off when the timer finishes. Safety switch-off: Zones switch off automatically if unchanged for 6 hours at settings 1–2, 5 hours at 3–4, 4 hours at 5 and 1.5 hours at 6–9. Colour / Finishes: Black - AFI902B White - AFI902W Cleaning & Maintenance: Before cleaning: Switch the appliance off and let it cool. Do not clean enamelled or stainless steel parts while they are hot from cooking. Oven interior: Enamelled oven walls are easiest to clean while the oven is warm. Wipe with a soft cloth in soapy water after each use, wipe again with a wet cloth and dry. An occasional liquid oven cleaner may be needed. Ceramic glass cooktop: Use a cream or liquid cleaner for vitroceramic glass, then rinse and dry thoroughly with a dry cloth. Avoid cleaning materials meant for steel, and clean dust with a wet cloth. Sugary or melting foods: When cooking very sugary items such as jam, apply a suitable protective agent to the glass beforehand if possible. Colour changes in the ceramic glass do not affect its structure or durability. Glass parts: Clean regularly with a glass cleaner, then rinse and dry thoroughly with a dry cloth. Enamelled parts: Wipe with a soft cloth soaked in soapy water, then a wet cloth, and dry. Do not leave vinegar, coffee, milk, salt, water, lemon or tomato juice on the enamel. Stainless steel parts: Wipe with a soft cloth soaked in water only, then dry thoroughly. Painted surfaces: Clean spots of tomato, lemon, oil, milk, sugary foods or coffee immediately with a cloth dipped in warm water. Do not use hard objects, scouring pads or cleaners with high alcohol content, stain removers or abrasive chemicals. What to avoid: Do not use cleaners containing particles, which can scratch glass, enamel and painted parts, and do not use steam cleaners on any part of the appliance. Removable parts: The inner door glass, oven door, wire racks and telescopic rails can be removed for cleaning as shown in the user manual. Clean new accessories with warm water, detergent and a soft cloth before first use. Cracked surface: If the ceramic cooktop cracks, switch off the appliance and call for service to avoid the risk of electric shock. Electrical supply: Hard-wired connection for 220–240V or 380–415V 3N, 50/60Hz, 10.2kW total. The appliance must be earthed, the power cable (H05VV-F) must be long enough to reach the terminal box and the cable must be secured in the cable clamp. Isolation: If not connected by a plug, use an all-pole disconnector with at least 3mm contact spacing. The fused switch must be easily accessible after installation. Clearances above: Allow at least 420mm to a cupboard above the cooktop and 650–700mm to a cooker hood. Side clearance: If adjacent furniture is higher than the cooktop, keep it at least 10cm from the sides of the appliance for air circulation. Surroundings: The worktop and surrounding furniture must withstand temperatures above 100°C. Do not install directly above a dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washing machine or dryer. Anti-tilt chain: Secure the supplied safety chain to the rear of the cooker and a wall hook, keeping the chain as short as practical. Levelling: Fit the four adjustable feet and level the cooker for safe operation. Handling: The cooker weighs 75kg gross; at least two people should lift it and it must never be dragged. Indoor use: Protect the appliance from sun, rain, snow and dust. It is designed for indoor installation. Extra Information:Induction heats the pan rather than the glass, so cookware matters. Use thick, flat, smooth-bottomed pans made of steel, enamelled steel, cast iron or stainless steel, and avoid aluminium, copper, glass, ceramic and non-ferromagnetic stainless steel, which are unsuitable. Centre the pan on the zone, and match the pan base to the zone size for the best energy transfer. If a pan is unsuitable or missing, the zone's symbol flashes and the zone switches off by itself after two minutes. When the hob is in use, keep magnetic-sensitive items such as bank cards and watches away, and anyone with a pacemaker should consult their cardiologist first.Treat the first use like a proper setup. Artusi recommends running the empty oven at maximum temperature for 45 minutes in a well-ventilated room to burn off the slight smell from the insulation on the heating elements. In everyday cooking, preheat for about 10 minutes for the fan, turbo and grill functions, keep the door closed with the temperature at 190°C when grilling, never line the oven with aluminium foil and do not place trays directly on the oven base. Before buying, plan the electrics and the room. At 10.2kW and hard-wired, the cooker needs an electrician to confirm the right single-phase or three-phase connection for your switchboard. It is designed for indoor use only, and Artusi's warranty applies to indoor installation, with indoor appliances used in outdoor or alfresco settings covered for 3 months only. Both finishes share identical specifications, so the choice comes down to your kitchen's look.Included Products / Accessories: Cooker: Artusi AFI902 90cm Freestanding Induction Cooker (AFI902B or AFI902W) Racking: Side wire racks and 1 x 50% extension telescopic rack Safety and finishing: Anti-tilt chain and mini splash-back Feet: Adjustable feet (removable) Documentation: User manual Warranty:Artusi appliances are backed by a 2-year manufacturer's warranty covering parts and labour.
