New Learn-to-Play D&D 5e, with House GM Jim on Sunday, November 1st, 15th, and 29th, from 11am to 4pm, 6 Seat Maximum

-NEW D&D 5e Learn-to-Play- Greetings All! We will begin hosting recurring Learn to Play sessions at RPG Dungeons for the Fall/Winter. These sessions will be Sundays, 11am-4pm, starting on September 6th, and every other week starting in November. For the moment the schedule for this game is set on Oct. 4th, Nov. 1st, 15th, and 29th, Dec. 13th and 27th. Some dates may be adjusted as we see what the holiday months have in store for us. The learn-to-play sessions will be ideal for drop in/drop out play. Each session will be open to the public, and we will focus on the fundamentals of the game, including character creation, basic action economy, spell use, and the "keywording" that is part of D&D. Sessions will typically include skill challenges, low pressure combat, and exploration, with plenty of time to answer questions about both sides of the screen - Playing and "GM-ing". Our goal is to provide a low-pressure, slow paced session that allows the newer players to focus on learning and practicing the fundamentals of the game, without worrying about the pressure of keeping up with setting lore, story beats and character plots. Once a player is comfortable with the basics of the game, they can fully immerse themselves in long-term campaigns and enjoy all that comes with that style of play.
