No. Cars with the 8 inch MMI Navigation Plus screen have MMI 3G+ and need our Audi MMI 3G kit instead. Does this need an AUX input? No. It connects directly through your Audi’s MOST fibre optic network, not the AUX port, so there’s no drop in audio quality. Is the CarPlay connection wireless? Yes. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto both connect wirelessly after the first pairing. A wired connection is also available if you want to charge your phone at the same time.
