The Fogstar Energy 800A Busbar for 48V Battery Systems acts as a central distribution hub for larger battery installations, combining multiple battery and inverter connections in one enclosed unit. With a continuous current rating of up to 800A and compatibility with 50mm², 70mm² and 95mm² power cable, the busbar offers dedicated terminals for up to four (4) 48V batteries and two (2) inverters. Independent positive and negative nickel-plated copper busbars give larger parallel battery systems a tidy, well-organised connection point. Rated for 800A Continuous Current Built to carry up to 800A continuously, giving larger 48V multi-battery systems a high-capacity point of distribution. Selectable Replaceable Fuse Offered with a choice of replaceable DC strip fuse – 250A, 350A, 450A or 750A – so protection can be sized to suit the system. Each option carries the same 80V DC rating and 3kA breaking capacity. The fuse selected, along with any further circuit protection, must be appropriate for the installation. Available Fuse Ratings 250A DC Strip Fuse: suited to smaller battery systems connected via the busbar. 1.0mm strip. 350A DC Strip Fuse: suited to mid-sized 48V battery installations. 1.5mm strip. 450A DC Strip Fuse: suited to larger 48V multi-battery systems. 1.5mm strip. 750A DC Strip Fuse: suited to high-current multi-battery installations. 2.0mm strip. Each fuse fits the busbar and belongs to the Lanson HCL 80V DC strip fuse series. IP65 Enclosure All battery and inverter connections sit inside an IP65-rated enclosure, fitted with cable glands for cables in use and sealing plugs for any unused entries. The IP65 rating is only maintained when the unit is installed correctly and every cable entry is properly sealed. Central DC Distribution Creates a shared positive and negative connection point for multiple batteries and inverters, making DC power cabling simpler across larger energy storage systems. 4 Battery Terminals Four dedicated positive and negative terminal pairs let several 48V batteries be combined at one distribution point. 2 Inverter Terminals Two dedicated positive and negative terminal pairs allow connection of up to two inverters. Nickel-Plated Copper Construction Independent positive and negative busbars in nickel-plated copper carry DC power between the connected batteries and inverters. Multiple Cable Sizes Supported Accepts 50mm², 70mm² and 95mm² battery and inverter power cable, giving installers more choice when specifying cable sizes to suit each system. Versatile Cable Routing A choice of cable-entry positions suits a range of battery and inverter layouts. Fully Enclosed Connections All battery and inverter power terminations are housed in a dedicated enclosure, using cable glands where cables are fitted and sealing plugs to close off any unused entries.
