POTASSIUM IODIDE STARCH TEST PAPER || Includes 1 vial of 100 test strips for detecting total available chlorine, free iodine and peroxides in water. 5 PPM DETECTION LIMIT || Detects concentrations beginning at 5 ppm, with upper ranges of 400-450 ppm for chlorine and peroxides and 50-100 ppm for iodine. VISIBLE COLOR RESPONSE || Chlorine and peroxides react immediately, while iodine develops in approximately 60 seconds, producing a blue-to-purple response. SIMPLE DIP-AND-READ METHOD || Dip the paper into the solution, remove and blot when possible, then observe the resulting color development.
