OXVA Xlim 4 Pod Vape Kit

The OXVA Xlim 4 is a refillable pod kit with a 1600mAh battery, three set power levels up to 30W and an RGB ring light where you might expect a screen. Most people just call it the Xlim 4. It is a different kit from the Xlim Pro 4, which some shops list as the "Xlim 4 Pro". You draw to vape, and the single button only changes settings. The UK kit comes with one 0.8Ω XLIM Top Fill Cartridge UNITECH 3.0 that holds 2ml, the UK TPD size. You fill it with your own e-liquid, so the nicotine strength is your choice. To use the Xlim 4, fill the pod from the top, wait 30 seconds, fit it and draw. These steps follow OXVA's manual: Fill the pod from the top with e-liquid. Leave a new pod for 30 seconds so the coil can soak before your first puff. Fit the pod into the kit. Press the button once to see the battery and power level on the ring light. Press it twice within 2 seconds to move between low, medium and high. Set the airflow slider, then draw to vape. A puff cuts off after 8 seconds. Press the button four times within 2 seconds to switch between the two light effects that show while you draw. Is the Xlim 4 inhale-activated or button-fired? The Xlim 4 is inhale-activated only. OXVA's manual says to draw to vape and uses the button for status, power level and light effects. Some listings call it button-fired too, but OXVA's Xlim Pro 4 spec sheet carries a dual-activation badge and the Xlim 4's doesn't. More draw-only options are in our inhale-activated kits. Which pods fit the OXVA Xlim 4? Three OXVA pods fit the Xlim 4, according to OXVA. All three are top fill and come in 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 and 1.2Ω. XLIM Top Fill Cartridge UNITECH 3.0 The pod that comes with the Xlim 4 XLIM Top Fill Cartridge The earlier top-fill pod from the Xlim Pro 3, sold by UK shops as the Xlim V3 XLIM ABT Cartridge UNITECH 3.0 Works as a normal pod in the Xlim 4. For the Xlim 4, pick one of its V3 top-fill options; the V2 options are not on OXVA's list for this kit. The Xlim ABT UniTech 3.0 pods fit too, without the anti-burn. Is 0.8 or 0.6 better for the Xlim 4? For most people coming from disposables, 0.8Ω is the better start: OXVA rates it for a mouth-to-lung (MTL) draw at 12-16W, and it's the one in the box. Go for 0.6Ω if you want a looser draw at 20-25W. OXVA doesn't publish the wattage behind low, medium and high, and there's no screen to show it, so you can't pick an exact figure for your pod. OXVA doesn't give an official full-charge time for the Xlim 4, so we won't guess one. What it does publish is a 1600mAh battery that charges over USB-C at 5V/2A, with the cable in the box. What do the Xlim 4 lights mean? With no screen, the ring light does the talking. Press the button once for the battery colour; warnings flash on their own: Green Battery 65% to 100% Blue Battery 30% to 65% Red Battery under 30% Red, flashes 10 times Low battery Red, flashes 5 times Too hot Red, flashes 3 times Short circuit Blue, flashes 3 times Puff went over 8 seconds and was cut off If you get the short-circuit flash, try a different pod before anything else. What is the difference between the Xlim 4 and Xlim Pro 4? The Xlim Pro 4 adds a 0.98 inch colour screen, fires on a draw or the button, lets you set the wattage from 5 to 30W and has an 1800mAh battery. With an ABT pod fitted, it can stop firing when the pod runs low and ask you to refill. The Xlim 4 is lighter, at 78.1g against 89g.
