How to Draw The Ten-Fold Tortoise Torus
Full Moon Session No.53 • The Ten-Fold Tortoise Torus Here’s a fun pattern I found while scrolling through Pinterest. Unfortunately I couldn’t find the original creator’s name or the name of the pattern. So I decided to call it the “Ten-Fold Tortoise Torus” because it resembles a torus and it reminded me of the Japanese “Bishamon Kikko” pattern which translates to “Interlocking Tortoise Shell”. I also feel like this pattern would feel right at home in a Venetian basilica. The basic construction for this pattern only takes half an hour but the actual inking of the pattern took me a lot longer than I had expected. Be sure to stay hydrated and take breaks. Wanna draw it with me?
