CHESAPEAKE Hand-dyed yarn - Blue & Turquoise variegated yarn from the Road Trip Collection|Fingering, DK, Worsted, and Bulky Superwash Merino yarn| Toad Hollow Yarns

A little Chesapeake Bay for your next cast-on. Originally our 2021 Maryland Sheep and Wool spotlight color, Chesapeake is hand-dyed, blending rich blue, bright turquoise, and aqua in a tribute to Maryland’s iconic bay. Part of our Reunion Tour road-trip collection, this water-inspired colorway brings a splash of coastal color to your knitting or crochet. Choose it for a project that carries a little memory of salt air, open water, and time beside the Bay. Each skein of Toad Hollow Yarns hand-dyed Superwash Merino yarn is dyed in small batches, so slight variations between skeins are part of what makes every project unique. Yarn bases - Sock Toad Base: 100 grams 80% superwash merino, 20% Nylon 400 yards 2 ply 100% Toad (fingering weight): 100 grams 100% Superwash Merino 400 yards 2 ply Toad DK: 100 grams 100% superwash merino 231 yards 4 ply Sweater Toad: 100 grams 100% Superwash merino 218 yards 3 ply Bulky Toad: 100 grams 100% Superwash merino 106 yards 3 ply Our yarns are hand dyed or hand painted using professional acid dyes. We wash each skein carefully after dying but slight bleeding may occur during first wash. Skeins may vary in color slightly so if using more than one skein of yarn in a project, please alternate skeins every few rows. This soft, squishy yarn is perfect for socks, shawls, sweaters or any project where you would use a Fingering weight. Care of yarn - superwash merino will allow you to wash your items in the washing machine but please use cold water. For best results and care, hand washing is recommended.
