Thumb Crimp

The thumbs want to join the crimp party too! How strong are your thumbs when you don't have the fingers to support from the opposing side? The crimp edge is slightly offset from the center of the loading pin in order to keep the edge level during lifting. Comes in 3 different sizes. The 1" is the most comfortable and suitable for building strength. The smaller sizes are great for climbers who want more precision or for anyone who wants to challenge their thumb tip strength. These are top-loaded and will require an open top style loading pin (sold separately here). When fixed to the loading pin, this helps with the convenience in setup, training repetitions and minimizing swinging. The grip surface is kept to raw steel by default in order to maintain consistency in competition and to allow for natural seasoning.
