So It Goes…

With an album and a handful of singles released over the past couple of years, Cherry Pikes see “So It Goes…” as a farewell to the salad days of the band. Coming out of the Swedish hardcore scene, their sound pulls from Pixies and Polvo as much as more recent contemporaries like Ovlov and Feeble Little Horses. Written with friends coming in and out of the practice space, the album came together without a metronome, leaving the conversations and moments between takes in the recordings. Across eight tracks, loud guitars and the absurdities of everyday life come together in a raw, loose sound that captures the band’s genuine emotion and attitude.
