Schiaparelli Vintage Rhinestone Ribbon Link Necklace

Elsa Schiaparelli was a fashion designer beginning her wonderful career in November 1927 and for over a decade she and her rival Coco Chanel dominated the fashion scene. Eventually beautiful collections of jewellery and accessories were added to her couture clothing ranges. Here we have a special rhinestone necklace, a great find as they become more difficult to come across. Here we have a vintage rhodium plated rhinestone ribbon link necklace, looping ribbon links set with clear rhinestones accented with small lavender rhinestones and fuchsia pink rhinestones where the ribbon ends curl. There is clear rhinestone chain at the end of the eight links. Signed Schiaparelli on the back. There is a hook clasp -one end with a deep pink rhinestone, and the other end a clear rhinestone. Length end to end is 42cms....an extension chain could be added if need be. Width of each of the rhinestone links is 1.5cms. It is in good condition with all stones present.
