St Andrews Beach Brewery Prince Of Sorachi Japanese Lager Can 375ml

“Crisp Japanese style lager with lemongrass, lime zest, delicate malt and an ultra dry finish.” St Andrews Beach Brewery Prince Of Sorachi Japanese Lager is clean, bright and very easy to drink, with a distinctive hop character that gives it a little more personality than your average lager. Brewed with rice, it has a light body and an ultra dry finish, while Sorachi Ace hops bring fresh lemongrass, lime zest and a subtle herbal edge. At 4.2% ABV, it stays delicate and refreshing, with the malt deliberately kept in the background so the citrus and herbal hop character can shine. If you like crisp lagers but want something a little more distinctive. The rice keeps it light and dry, while the Sorachi Ace hops add enough citrus and herbal character to make it genuinely interesting. Tasting Notes Aroma: Lemongrass, lime zest, delicate malt and subtle herbs. Palate: Light bodied and crisp with soft grain, fresh citrus and clean carbonation. Finish: Ultra dry and refreshing with lingering lime, lemongrass and a gentle herbal edge. About The Brewery St Andrews Beach Brewery is based in Fingal on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula and is built around a former racehorse training property, which explains the racing theme running through much of the range. Prince Of Sorachi was originally released in 2021 and quickly became one of the brewery’s fastest selling limited releases. Strong demand saw it return to the range, although securing enough of the rare Sorachi Ace hop has not always been easy. The style itself is beautifully simple: crisp lager, rice for dryness and Sorachi Ace for that unmistakable lemongrass and lime character. Sometimes simple works especially well when every part is doing its job.
