ECOTEST Strep A Test Kit

The Strep A Antigen Home Test is a rapid immunochromatographic assay for the qualitative, presumptive detection of Group A Streptococcus antigens in human throat swab specimens. Designed for self-testing, this Strep A test kit can be used as an aid in identifying Strep A infection in people experiencing symptoms. Results can be read after 5 minutes, providing a convenient option for testing at home. Group A Streptococcus is a common cause of upper respiratory infections. Symptoms that may prompt testing include sore throat, pain when swallowing, red or swollen tonsils, white spots or pus on the tonsils, swollen lymph nodes and fever. The test provides a qualitative result indicating whether Strep A antigens have been detected in the throat swab specimen.
