Drawing I: The Practical and Entertaining Art of Drawing

This basic course is an introduction to the art of drawing for the beginner, but it is also a great refresher course for the seasoned artist. Learning to draw can give you the skill to design something you want to make, begin a painting or serve as a launchpad to exploring other forms of art or teaching others your learned drawing skills. In this six-week ongoing studio class we will learn skills and tools needed to draw what you think and see. We will practice the use of pencil, charcoal, pen and ink, brush and paper surfaces. We will learn about perspective, value, line, shape and composition.
