Turntable Track 10 "Brown Sugar" Blended Whisky

Track 10 from the Turntable Spirits called "Brown Sugar" balances sooty smoke and oily engine-room character with creamy peaches and ripe nectarines. It combines liquid from 5 distilleries for ultimate harmony. Ledaig aged in sherry puncheon is responsible for all the peat in the blend, with notes of coastal brine, smoke and tobacco. Tamdhu, aged in 1st Fill bourbon barrel, brings in toasted oak and cinnamon biscuits. Tullibardine in Virgin oak brightens the flavour with pear and lemon tart. The sweetness comes from Loch Lomond and Strathclyde, both aged in 1st fill bourbon barrels, both bringing in sugar - one icing and the other brown. All of them were married and finished in beautiful Moscatel barrels for 20 months, before being bottled without chill-filtration or artificial colouring.
