Antique Italian small amphora

A rare small Italian antique amphora jug from the late 19th to early 20th century. Hand-crafted to serve oil or vinegar at the table, it features a wonderful glaze of turquoise and amber on a cream background, typical of pottery from Puglia. A gorgeous folk art piece in a kitchen or bookshelf. Found in Toscana. Condition: Good. This jug is in good antique condition. There are a few fleabites and chips in the glazing on the rim and body, and crackled glazing consistent with its age and use. Any differences in color and texture are due to the artisanal nature of this piece. Dimensions: H 16cm x W 12,5cm x 9,5cm.
