Flow Cap Counterweight System Shim

The Flow Cap Counterweight System Shim is the PTFE spacer that seats at the joint between the Flow Cap Mount and the Saber Hilt Extension, where the connecting screw passes through. It keeps the aluminum joint from galling and takes up play for a tight, quiet fit. The shim and the connecting screw work as a pair: together they semi-permanently join the mount and the hilt extension so the two parts will not unthread, rotate or work loose. They stay joined until the screw is removed with a 4mm Allen key. You already have one. This shim ships in the box with the Flow Cap Mount, the Flow Cap Counterweight System and the Flow Cap Counterweight Kit, along with the connecting screw and the 4mm Allen key.
