Chicken liver and heart are natural sources of taurine, an essential nutrient for cats. While dogs can produce their own taurine, it can be beneficial to incorporate into their diets especially for dogs with existing heart conditions. Should be fed as organ and combined with other ingredients to create a balanced diet. Suitable for both dogs and cats. Chicken heart contains folic acid, zinc, iron, and taurine. Chicken gizzard contains iron. Chicken liver contains preformed vitamin A. A copper supplement may be required with this product if ruminant liver is not included in the diet.
