A 12-point cap screw securely retains the stud after it passes through the spherical bearing. COM10T FK Spherical Bearings: Multi-planar suspension movement can be extremely demanding on spherical bearings. The quality of the bearing race, liner, and adhesive system is critical to long-term performance. FK Bearings have earned a strong reputation throughout the off-road industry for durability and reliability in severe applications. Tri-Flow PTFE Lubrication: Each system uses Tri-Flow lubricant formulated with PTFE, making it well suited for the Teflon liners used within the spherical bearings. Protection from Water and Debris: The upper portion of the assembly is protected by a sealed cap while the lower side uses a dust boot. Once the joint is installed, grease can be applied at the top before securing the cap to further protect against water intrusion.
