A bold expression of traditional Navajo silversmithing, this sterling silver cuff by Daniel “Sunshine” Reeves centers a striking Carico Lake turquoise cabochon in shades of green, accented by an earthy golden-brown matrix. The stone is framed by a twisted-wire bezel and dramatic radiating silverwork, while layers of intricate geometric stampwork extend across the cuff’s wide band. Reeves is celebrated for his exceptionally detailed hand-stamping, a technique that begins with flat sheets of sterling silver. Using an array of handmade stamps, he builds complex patterns one hammer blow at a time.
