Leave them sanded for a brushed satin look, or send them to the shop and paint them to match the truck. That's the real advantage of the sanded finish — the brushed surface gives paint something to grip, where a mirror polish has to be knocked back down before anything will stick to it. The 8" drop gives your T680 or T880 the chopped-window profile and cuts sun coming in over the top of the door glass. Left unpainted, the satin grain sits next to the OEM brushed stainless already on the truck instead of fighting it — and it hides road film, water spotting, and wash-bay swirl marks far better than polished trim. Installs to the outer edge of the door with heavy-duty double-sided tape. No drilling, no hardware, no trim removal. If you're painting them, do it before install and keep paint off the tape.
