This is another cracker from one of my faves, Biodyn Haider, a super natural-style producer from Burgenland, Austria. 100% Blaufrankisch, Austria's flagship grape, this is delicately balanced fruitiness and acidity on a texture that walks between the silky and juicy. It presents a translucent purple colour in the glass, gentle aromas of black forest fruit, a touch of leather and prune compote and a satisfying sip that stretches the pleasure. Can be served slightly chilled or room temp. Pairing: Grilled pork works a treat.
