The second-generation ZEN Air DAC is based around a bit-perfect DSD & DXD DAC from Cirrus Logic. Used effectively in other iFi offerings, this DAC particularly excels in dynamics. The amplification stage has been overhauled to give you a balanced 4.4mm headphone output, using the Pentaconn standard. The ZEN Air DAC 2 boasts up to 484mW RMS output power via the balanced 4.4mm headphone output, giving your headphones the headroom they need to shine. XBass+ and PowerMatch are analogue circuits that give you control over the sound of your system. XBass+ is a low shelving filter that amplifies the low-end in your music; PowerMatch adapts output level for more insensitive headphones.
