The Mission 700 speaker stands are precision manufactured to partner the Mission 700 standmount speakers, raising them to the correct height and isolating them from the floor so they perform as designed. The top plate measures 260 × 270 mm, matching the footprint of the Mission 700 cabinet exactly. Mission describes the stand as perfected to a fraction of a millimetre, and the fit bears that out. Internally Damped Columns: High carbon steel columns with internal damping absorb unwanted vibration before it can colour the sound. Precision-Matched Top Plate: A high carbon steel top plate sized 260 × 270 mm to the Mission 700 cabinet, giving full, even support with no overhang. Interlocked Steel Base Frame: An interlocked high carbon steel tube base frame keeps the whole structure stable and resistant to rocking. Hardened Stainless Steel Spikes: Spikes couple the stand to the floor and decouple the speaker from it, which is where much of the critical damping comes from. Correct Listening Height: A 485 mm height on spikes sets the Mission 700 at the position Mission voiced it for, which matters more on this speaker than most given its inverted driver layout.
