Produced from 100% Nebbiolo sourced from estate vineyards in Barolo along with selected vineyards in La Morra, Cascina Ferrero is Tenuta Carretta’s classically styled Barolo, designed to combine the character of multiple vineyard sites into a balanced and consistent expression. The wine undergoes a minimum of 36 months of aging, including at least 24 months in barrel and nine months in bottle. The excellent 2021 shows an intense garnet color with aromas of rose, wild berries, forest floor, licorice, cocoa and sweet spice, leading to a full, warm palate with polished tannins and a long, elegant finish. 95 Points - Boutellier Wines
