Digitrax UR92 Duplex Radio Tranceiverr-IR Receiver

Digitrax UR92 Duplex Radio Tranceiverr-IR Receiver is a combination Duplex Radio Transceiver and Infrared Receiver Panel designed to provide wireless control for compatible Digitrax throttles. With the UR92 installed on a LocoNet system, model railroad operators can select, dispatch, and program locomotives wirelessly without needing to plug in a Duplex-equipped “D” throttle. The Digitrax UR92 Duplex Radio Tranceiverr-IR Receiver supports both Duplex Radio and infrared operation at the same time. Its Duplex Radio operates in the 2.4 GHz band and provides a range of approximately a 300-foot diameter circle. On most layouts, only one UR92 is needed to provide Duplex operation, while the system can support up to 20 Digitrax Duplex throttles simultaneously. The built-in infrared receiver also allows compatible Digitrax throttles equipped with infrared emitters to operate wirelessly. A Group Name feature allows multiple clubs to operate independently when located close together at train shows, exhibitions, or other shared events. Installation is designed to be plug-and-play with any LocoNet system. The panel includes one front RJ12 6-pin throttle jack for connecting throttles and LocoNet devices that do not use RailSync, along with two rear RJ12 6-pin LocoNet jacks for devices that use RailSync. The included PS14 power supply provides power for the unit. For installation and regional compatibility, Digitrax Duplex Radio “D” products are intended for use in the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. The DCE version is available for the EU, while Kato Japan offers a Japanese-approved version. The Digitrax UR92 Duplex Radio Tranceiverr-IR Receiver also includes indicator LEDs, local track-section power indication, and two #6-32 right-angle screw terminals for local track connections, power, and diagnostics.
