VINTAGE 1995 TUDOR PRINCE OYSTER-DATE 34 BI-METAL WATCH FULL-SET BOX & PAPERS. The Tudor watches which had always been the budget range by Rolex have seen an immense surge of popularity over the last ten years or so and this lovely 1990’s model 74033 is a prime example. Manufactured in 1995 and sold by Deacons jeweller’s in Swindon. This was the last of the classic date-just look Tudor’s. The model 74033 prince oyster-date has everything that you would want in a vintage Tudor, with a sapphire glass and 18ct gold fluted bezel, exactly the same as it’s Rolex date-just counterpart. (this one is actually described as a ‘Tudor date-just’ on the purchase receipt). Measuring 34.5mm across the bezel, not including the crown and 41.5mm tip-to-tip. The case is in superb condition with no dings or serious scratches and just a little light rubbing commensurate with minimal use over the years. Original sapphire glass, with some tiny marks/chips commensurate with age. The white Roman dial is in outstanding original condition, i have never seen a better one than this. Signed ‘Tudor Prince Oyster-Date’ and ‘rotor self-winding’ below. The luminous dots are all still present and in perfect condition. The polished gold baton numerals and Tudor shield compliment the white dial perfectly, with matching luminous filled hands. The movement is the calibre 2824-2 automatic with quick-set calendar and hacking seconds. The hands set correctly and the date clicks over swiftly at 12 as it should. The original crown screws down tightly and unscrews as would be expected. This was a bracelet model from new and exhibits the original Tudor branded jubilee bracelet which is in excellent condition. Will fit up to an eight inch wrist. 100 % complete, as it left the shop in 1999, with both boxes, original purchase receipt, warranty certificate, hang-tag, hand-book etc. This is a wonderful 1990’s Tudor in exceptional condition which looks fabulous on the wrist, not many left like this one.
