Blacksmithing Workshop

Come along for a two-day workshop and learn some Blacksmithing techniques with professional Blacksmith Joe Tyler. Day 1 You’ll learn some fundamental blacksmithing processes including, tapering, forming, bending, and forging. You will then use these techniques to make a couple of items such as: bottle openers, key fobs, forged single hook. Day 2 Working with the techniques learned on day one, you will work on a slightly larger project such as: a pair of decorative door handles, a complete hook hanging bracket with a back plate, or a pair of hanging flower basket brackets. After the weekend you will have had a go at multiple blacksmithing processes and leave with several hand made items that will last a lifetime. All materials and tools will be provided. Delicious refreshments including teas and coffee and lunch will be provided.
