Citing Dr. James Naismith as the game's inventor 11 years earlier in Springfield, Mass., The Times wrote, "The first goals were simply a bunch of simple peach baskets hung at each end of the gymnasium, and hence the game took its name." As you look through this 12" x 15" hardcover book, it will take you back in time to your favorite team's glory days.
