These beautifully detailed earrings feature a graceful openwork design with delicate scroll motifs and a luminous circular guilloche enamel center in an exceptionally rich cobalt blue. The gilding remains strong and bright, and the enamel is clean, glossy, and fully intact with no damage of any kind. Although nearly 100 years old, these earrings present beautifully and remain remarkably well preserved. They were professionally converted to French hook wires for more wearable modern use. The original backs are included with the purchase, as they retain additional original marks. This conversion was necessary because the earrings had a prior repair to the front of the original screw backs, and they were not soldered properly, causing them not to hang evenly.
