Indigo blue and black ikat silk visually create an almost black rich indigo blue, plus lots of true blackest black. The shapes may be just an abstract angular design, or possibly flowers, kites, swirling water, or ?? They show up better in person - not quite as hidden as the photos may look. This silk is soft and supple, with very little body, a cotton-like soft matte, supple feel, medium weight, and a bit of drape. A true ikat, back and front are just the same. Slubby texture; not at all sleek or shiny. It's just like a classic indigo dyed, handwoven Yuki Tsumugi, but there are no tags. 14" wide and sold by the full yard, we'll cut yours in one piece from the never-used, expertly woven, excellent condition vintage bolt. 100% Silk.
