Trebbiano Casa Mia Bianco, Podere Sassi
Refreshing and savory, with notes of orange zest, grapefruit, tea leaf, nectarine, and a light floral lift. Easy drinking but with some nice complexity. Great, everyday, skin contact wine. Three weeks on skins, bottled with no fining or filtration and just a small amount of sulphur. Leonardo Sassi comes from a family of bakers in Rome who run a farm in the Lazio pre-Apennines, right on the border with Umbria. Spanning approximately 3.3 ha, the estate lies at an altitude of about 300 meters above sea level, with vines rooted in soils composed of clay, sand, and silt. Leonardo was inspired to restore the family's abandoned vineyard and now produces a range of wines with a natural approach: fermentation occurs spontaneously without temperature control, and the wines undergo no filtration or additions of sulfur dioxide. Origin: Tarano, Lazio, Italy Vintage: 2025 Grape varieties: Trebbiano Giallo Food pairing: Charcuterie, fish, poultry, soft cheeses Bottle size: 75cl ABV: 12% NATURAL/ LOW SULPHITE
