The Axis 500 is built around Blok's Transparent Design Philosophy, with each part of the stand designed to provide dependable support while helping to control unwanted vibration and resonance. The result is a more secure foundation for your speakers and more accurate positioning within your listening space. Stable Speaker Support A rigid extruded metal support column forms the main structure of each stand, providing the strength needed to securely support compatible stand-mount loudspeakers. The central column can also be filled with additional mass, increasing the weight of the stand and helping to reduce unwanted movement. For further damping, the column can be filled with Blok Isofill, an optional mass-loading material made from metal hexagons in different sizes. Isofill adds weight to the structure while helping to control resonance within the support column. Please note: Blok Isofill is an optional accessory and is not included with the stands. Isolated Metal Top Plate The Axis 500 features a metal top plate with integrated rubber isolation feet. These help separate the speaker from the stand and reduce the transfer of unwanted vibration between the two. This provides a firm, controlled surface for compatible stand-mount speakers while helping maintain a cleaner listening environment. Rigid Chamfered Plywood Base A substantial chamfered plywood base provides each stand with a broad and rigid foundation.
