Raku: Saggar, Naked Raku & Obvara <br>Sunday, October 25th, 2026<br>1:00PM-6:00PM

Explore saggar-fired pots and other unglazed raku techniques in this hand-on, outdoor workshop. We will have ceramic saggars plus all kinds of chemicals to fire with your pots to create fantastic fired surfaces on your work. We will also have Obvara mix for Baltic Raku and peeling slip for Naked Raku. Time for prepping and glazing pots is built into the class – just bring your self and your wares to participate in the fun! Participants who wish to join in but do not have any pots to fire are welcome to adopt pots from our orphaned bisqueware collection to join in the fun that way.
