Handmade Horezu Bowl | No. 14 | Ø 25 cm

Beautiful and decorative ceramic bowl from the Romanian town of Horezu – renowned for its unique pottery tradition, which is listed as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage. The bowl is wheel-thrown and hand-painted by skilled local artisans, giving each piece its own distinctive character. Each one is also subtly engraved with the Studio Hafnia logo on bottom as a mark of authenticity and craftsmanship. No two bowls are alike, and small variations in color and pattern are part of the charm. The bowl is fully glazed with a smooth, glossy finish. It is food safe and ideal for serving, but just as beautiful as a decorative piece in the home – on the dining table, on a shelf, or as a unique serving bowl for larger dishes. After shaping, the bowl is decorated using the traditional Horezu technique, where several layers of color are applied to create the characteristic patterns. It is first fired at 850–950 °C, then glazed with a water-based glaze and fired again at 1000–1100 °C. This bowl is also available in a smaller size.
