Terry’s idea for his 66 designs was to go a little more Pop Art — bold, simple graphics with something familiar behind them. For this one, he took inspiration from the yellow New York taxis of the 1960s, mixing that unmistakable yellow with the black and white checkerboard detail. It feels very Terry to us — a bit of 60s America, a strong graphic, and plenty of character without trying too hard. Watch the video to hear the full story behind the design. He is rarely seen without a good T-shirt himself, so we feel like we are in pretty good company. The fabric is 180g organic cotton, soft, lightweight and ideal for everyday wear.
