ASSA dp4400 Snowman Cutaway in Kaba 312 Padlock Body by Jordan the Locksmith

Condition: New old stock core and body This custom ASSA dp4400 "Snowman" cutaway is mounted in a Kaba 312 padlock body and cut away on both sides, clearly exposing both sides of the lock while retaining the structural integrity needed to cycle with the key. Both the core and the body are new old stock. This piece is made for continuous cycling and fidgeting, not for picking. It is best enjoyed with the key as a display, study, and fidget piece. As with any cutaway lock, gentle use is recommended to preserve the lock and maintain proper operation. Jordan the Locksmith is a full-time locksmith and custom cutaway maker. He has been picking locks since around 2010 and has worked professionally as a locksmith since 2017. Jordan began making cutaways in 2019 as a way to better understand lock mechanics and improve his own picking, starting with simple hand tools before moving into more precise mill work.
