Unlike the Leica M or CL, the spool cannot be removed, and Leica has not supplied an original replacement part for decades. This repair spool is deliberately not a complete replacement spool, but an attachment for your existing spool: It restores the clamping function without removing the spool or requiring a workshop repair.
