Pair of Stag Bedsides

This pair of Stag bedside chests combines compact proportions with a practical mix of open and enclosed storage. Each cabinet features a slim upper pull-out extension, an open central shelf and two deeper lower drawers, offering space for books, personal items and other bedside essentials. The shaped plinths, moulded tops and raised drawer fronts retain the traditional Stag styling, while polished brass knobs and ring handles provide a warm contrast against the dark painted finish. Both pieces have been hand-sanded, cleaned and finished with multiple spray coats of deep black paint, creating a smooth and durable surface while updating the original appearance. The brass fittings have been retained to complement the darker colour. One cabinet has some lifting to the veneer on the top, as shown in the photographs. These items are made with cherrywood frames and drawers, with plywood backs. Their matching design makes them well suited to either side of a bed, while the combination of drawers and open shelving keeps everyday items organised and easy to access.
