The upper is constructed from durable 1.8 mm nubuck leather with double-stitched seams, while a tough rubber toe provides additional protection in one of the highest-wear areas of the boot. Inside, Hunters Element's HYDRAFUSE™ REINsoc™ waterproof and breathable membrane helps keep water out while allowing moisture to escape. The padded internal backing is lightweight and fast drying, helping maintain comfort during extended periods on foot. Underfoot, the Lima combines a shock-absorbing EVA midsole with a tapered nylon footbed to provide support and stability over uneven and jagged surfaces. The aggressive Vibram® TSAVO outsole provides serious traction across varied terrain. Vibram® MULTITRATION self-cleaning lugs are designed to push mud and water away from the sole for improved grip, while a defined heel step assists with braking when travelling downhill.
