Aatira

Aatira lehenga set in mustard tissue silk, paired with an ivory Munga silk blouse. The lehenga is finished with a booti motif border developed using sadi work, pitta work and resham, followed by a patch border with Parisha flowers and leaf motifs, a roll border and a frill. The dupatta features a mor pankh motif border and a roll scallop border. The blouse is embroidered with a kairi jaal featuring leaf borders, tree motifs and resham girah, developed using resham threads in ivory, green, garnet, mehendi green and olive green. The motifs are surrounded with taar work, creating a kairi pattern, and finished with a roll tiki border. The mustard and ivory colour combination complements the embroidery, while the contrast of tissue silk and Munga silk creates a balanced interplay of texture and craftsmanship.
