A lovely lined shoulder bag combining Japanese woven fabrics, simple strip piecing, appliqué and embroidery. The Alice J Bag uses beautiful Japanese woven fabric for the handles, gusset and feature panels, teamed with coordinating quilting-weight cottons. Each side of the bag is different, with two appliqué designs enhanced with embroidery, plus pretty side ties finished with little flowers. This is more assembly than traditional patchwork, making it a great project for anyone who would like to try a little appliqué and simple strip piecing without taking on anything too complicated.
