Do not use filament with carbon fiber filling (CF) — it has lower interlayer adhesion, which is important in this model. Heat-set the 1/4" brass inserts. Set the iron to 230°C for PLA, 250°C for PETG / ABS. Press straight down and stop about 0.5 mm short of the surface — then press the part against a flat cold surface. The insert levels itself perfectly flush. See the video for the exact motion. This is a digital download, not a physical product. Nothing will be shipped out.
