Collio Orientali del Friuli-Cialla, Friuli, Italy Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso Fermented in stainless steel with ambient yeast. Maceration on the skins of about four weeks with pump over twice daily. Aged in a mix of french barriques and Slavonian oak for 14-18 months followed by an additional 50 months of time in bottle. Sourced from the Ronchs vineyard, this rich and elegant expression of Refosco has dark fruit, game, and floral aromas. Aged in French barriques and Slavonian oak for 18 months, this spent an additional 50 months aging in bottle. Pair with Pitina.
